We at Eastside Primetimers are greatly heartened to again be included in the NatWest/Pioneers Post SE100 list of the UK’s top 100 social enterprises for 2021.
The top 100 social enterprises are “judged on a wide range of criteria – from the growth and sustainability of their businesses to the innovation and resilience they have demonstrated and the social impact they have delivered”. We are proud to be listed alongside so many other diverse organisations making change across the country – from inspired educators to revolutionary advertisers, from football clubs to community cafés, from ‘positive pants’ to food that fights loneliness. 2021’s list also includes a number of our own clients and valued partners.
At Eastside Primetimers, our mission is to increase the capacity and effectiveness of social sector organisations through specialist consultancy and recruitment. We find and support exceptional people who have the drive to make a difference in the social sector. During the first lockdown in 2020 we supported 32 organisations through a pro bono COVID-19 Business Continuity Support scheme and in 2021, we have run a programme of free monthly advice surgeries, with many of those signing up coming from small organisations.
Further, 25% of our company profits go to our Eastside Primetimers Foundation. The Foundation provides free events and resources and has a dual mission. First, it helps individuals from other walks of life with career transitions into the not-for-profit sector. Second, the Foundation explores issues relating to the Future of Work in the sector including flexible work, wellbeing, diversity, automation and intergenerational workplaces.
