Eastside Primetimers has been recognised as a leading provider of access to the Investment Contract Readiness Fund (ICRF) in the ICRF Interim Review published April 8th 2014.
Richard Litchfield, CEO of Eastside Primetimers, said: ”We are delighted to have secured 10 of the 11 grants we applied for on behalf of our clients. We made more grant applications than most other providers and achieved a 91% success rate. This is because we invest our time and resources up front to support our clients in preparing the right application.”
The £10 million ICRF is the world’s first fund dedicated to helping charities and social enterprises acquire the skills they need to raise investment and compete for public service contracts. It has been operating since May 2012, and has awarded grants worth £8.9 million to 94 social ventures. This has enabled them to secure specialist support such as legal advice, financial management and strategic planning; which has so far helped secure investments totaling £35 million.
Eastside Primetimers has deployed a team of 20 consultants from its membership. Of the 10 projects we are currently working with, the team has already successfully raised investment for Bournemouth Churches Housing Association to develop a social enterprise centre. Richard Litchfield added: “Grants of £50,000 to £150,000 are still available to organisations that want to raise at least £500,000 in investment or win contracts worth £1 million or more. Please do contact us if you wish to discuss how to use social investment to finance your organisation’s plans ”.
