At Eastside Primetimers we are currently recruiting for a new role as business analyst, with a focus on finance and business development.
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Timescale: full-time, 2-year contract
Eastside Primetimers is a management consultancy with a difference. Working exclusively on behalf of non-profit organisations, we provide professional support to help Chief Executives and Boards who are seeking ways to make their organisations fit for the future. Formed out of a merger of Eastside Consulting and Primetimers in 2013, we have a team of 100 senior business and charity professionals offering the widest range of consultancy services in the social sector.
We are currently working on a range of exciting capital raising projects, mergers, strategic reviews and impact measurement projects for pioneering client organisations and are seeking an analyst to support this work. The analyst will work in the social investment team and support the social investment lead (a new role) and other project consultants, so that our capital raising projects have robust financial models and investment materials. We anticipate that this individual will provide business research and financial analysis on live client projects in other areas too.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is a wide ranging role. Within the social investment brief the candidate will build financial models for charities and social enterprises raising investment in order to support their business plans and financing requirements, they will support investor engagement activity, help coordinate the social investment team and maintain our knowledge of the social investor market.
General business analysis, development and marketing duties will be another part of the role. This will include market research, data management, running marketing campaigns, business planning and supporting our impact readiness team.
As we are a small close-knit team, there will also be a requirement to assist with general office tasks.
We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in corporate finance, banking, management consulting or accounting. Candidates should have excellent financial analysis skills, ideally with experience of running models for financing projects. An interest in the emerging social investment space and a genuine commitment to working for a social purpose consultancy are very important to us. More generally, they must be able to take initiative, work flexibly and have excellent communications and IT skills.
