Could you Chair the Board of a wonderful charity that is passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to the same chances, choices and opportunities?

Background

Teamwork Trust are a North Northamptonshire charity and social enterprise with three centres in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough. They work with and support autistic adults and people with learning disabilities and mental health needs, providing a safe, friendly, supportive environment where they actively encourage a ‘can do’ culture.

They care and are passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to the same chances, choices and opportunities, and embrace and celebrate individual needs and abilities.

Appointment of a Chair

The trust’s current Chair is stepping down after a long period of dedicated service. They are now looking for a committed and motivated individual to help steer Teamwork Trust through a time of exciting opportunity and development through 2021 and beyond.  Our new Chair of the Board will be someone who is able to be our strategic lead and ensure Teamwork Trust lives and breathes our service user led approach.

We are seeking an individual with experience of leading long-term strategic development and driving financial sustainability. We are looking for someone who can act as a passionate and persuasive advocate for Teamwork Trust, with an understanding of the issues concerning adults with disabilities and the ability to inspire staff, fellow trustees and stakeholders alike.

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, be willing to be an ambassador for Teamwork Trust, be interested in developing opportunities for the organisation and have a real empathy and passion for the work Teamwork Trust does.

This role presents an opportunity to work with an organisation at an exciting point in its development. We are looking for a Chair who shares our mission to ensure that everyone has access to the same chances, choices and opportunities.  If you want to play a leading part in shaping the future of our services, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
