Brent is a governance specialist. He has more than fifteen years’ experience of working with not-for-profits, following a career in international business.
In 2002 he realised the social sector had an urgent need to access skills and expertise from the business sector, to solve the increasingly sophisticated challenges faced by charities and social enterprises. Two years later Brent founded Primetimers, which then went on to merge with Eastside Consulting in 2013 as Eastside Primetimers.
Brent’s not-for-profit governance experience includes service as the Chair of Aldridge Education, a multi-academy trust of 9 schools in London, the North West and Brighton; a Trustee, Vice-Chair and pension Trustee of Family Action, the largest family charity in England; and a Director of Danaqa Ltd., a social business.
