Carolyn Hay Eastside People Member consultant

Carolyn Hay

My background covers consultancy, local government, civil society and health sector experience, and I have a strong commitment to addressing social disadvantage and working for inclusion of marginalised communities. I am Prince 2 accredited with extensive experience in designing and running programmes for the UK government and European Commission. I have delivered major funding programmes for projects ranging from under 10K for capacity building, through to partnerships receiving several million. I currently carry out associate work for various organisations around social research, bid assessment, bid writing and project management.

Key Projects:

Refugee Integration, EU funded assessments of projects for the Red Cross

Reviewing a multi country project funded through the EU on testing models of refugee integration. Delivery of qualitative evaluation including interviews and case studies.

Gendered poverty project management work for a small charity working throughout England for women in financial hardship

Delivery of end to end support for project and partnership applications, processes and assessments, plus interviews for applicants and feedback. Reporting for Trustees and external civil society partners.

Business development for Adviza, a medium sized charity based in the Thames Valley

Development of bids for contracts, subcontracts and partnerships, plus charity and foundation based fundraising.
