Catherine is a non-executive Director of Eastside Primetimers Foundation and an Eastside Primetimers consultant with over ten years’ experience in the voluntary sector. Catherine provides advice on developing partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, competing for public sector contracts, licencing and franchising, governance, strategy and planning, and social enterprise start up.
Her clients range from small start-up enterprises to large established charities. Catherine has provided support to a wide range of clients including UK Youth, Action for Prisoners Families, Brighton and Hove Impetus, Birth Companions, CoolTan Arts, Brook Advisory, Aspire Foundation, and the Bromley By Bow Centre. For four years she worked with Accenture UK to deliver its Development and Support programme for over 300 Healthy Living Centres. Catherine has advised Devon NHS and Barnsley Council on social enterprise spin-outs. As a chair of a children’s charity, she has experience of leading a charity through a merger.
She has an MA in social enterprise management. Catherine has worked in both the private and public sectors, including Royal Mail, where she worked in business and product development, franchising and stakeholder relations. Primetimers helped her make the change to the not for profit sector and she undertook various volunteering projects to develop her understanding and experience of the sector.
Catherine also runs an organic gardening company, volunteers for the Limehouse Community Association, Crisis and a local community garden.
