Key skills & experience

Specialising in small to medium sized charities means you need to be able to cover many areas of specialism, bring teams together working towards shared goals and problem solving across the organisation.

Recent projects

  • Assessing the VAT options of making a new registration to maximise recovery on a capital build project then progressing discussions on claims with HMRC.
  • Looking at options with a charity that found itself in a financial crisis due to the unexpected loss of contracts which led to the erosion of reserves.  Risk management, option appraisal, financial and cash flow forecasting were essential including making sure Trustees were considering the issue of going concern.
  • Restructuring budgets for major UK funders as a result of the impact of covid on delivery outcomes, ensuring that no funding was lost but repurposed.
