Julie Woodcock

Julie’s strength is accessing finance within the social economy. She supports social finance and capacity building projects from local grassroots to multi million pound projects.

Julie has a background in delivering grants and loans to help charities and small groups access funding to carry out their much needed services.

Key skills & experience

Julie is a registered business specialist for the Big Lottery Big Potential programme which supports charities and the VCS to have the effective systems, processes and business models in place to attract funding.


Recent projects

Julie has managed many different projects and contracts in the third sector. The first of many was a £10m pot to support community activity in the voluntary and community sector. The results ranged from setting up of counselling for domestic violence victims, to providing local children with a play area, stimulating change and creating excellent volunteering opportunities that helped people to progress into training and employment.
