Marija Antanaviciute

Marija is a research consultant working across the voluntary sector, with a passion for data-driven insights to support change and innovation in the sector. She specialises in housing, women-focused services, poverty-alleviation programmes and community investment. Marija provides a wide range of research and analysis support to business change and impact measurement projects, policy campaigns and programme evaluations.

  • Full-cycle research project management (bid and business case development, project initiation and budget development, research design, data collection, data analysis and report write-up).
  • Qualitative research methods (desk research; conducting interviews, focus groups and co-production workshops, including senior management and vulnerable population engagement).
  • Quantitative research methods (survey design and data analysis).
  • Evaluation of projects (evaluation design; theory of change development; impact evaluation, including developing actionable recommendations for improvement).
  • Organisational change and transformation (organizational capabilities assessment, strategic planning and annual reporting support).


Recent projects

  • Managed the evaluation of 3-year long community investment programme delivered by one of the largest housing associations in the country.
  • Designed research framework, collected and analysed data to assess the impact of the pandemic to women and girls at risk. The research informed a sector-wide campaign for social recovery of the most marginalized women and girls, led an alliance for women and girls at risk.
  • Conducted housing association’s capabilities assessment to support organization-wide transformation, evaluating capabilities across a range of indicators (strategy and operational model, governance of change, customer focus and data culture among others).
