Robert Falkner

Robert Falkner provides charities and “not-for-profit” organisations with much needed financial, accounting and commercial consultancy services, including assisting charities in fund raising. He has carried out a number of successful ICRF funding applications and completed many financial health-check reviews on a wide range of charities, advising on financial reporting needs for Trustees and Board Members, as well as the implementation of suitable financial controls and processes.
Key skills & experience
Robert is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant. He started his career in Ernst & Young, and then spent some 17 years at British Airways in a variety of roles in finance, marketing and IT, both in the UK and overseas. He was the finance director of Online Travel Corporation Plc., a publicly quoted travel company. From 2007 until 2015, he was finance director of Sedex Information Exchange Limited, which provides a world-wide ethical trading database, and since then has been engaged in a variety of “not-for-profit” and charitable organisations principally on a consultancy basis.

He is a member of the Audit & Risk Committee of the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, and is a volunteer at the LWC. He is also a director of the aviation and travel industry consultancy partnership Constellation Aviation Consulting Ltd.
