Ruth oversees the work of the Eastside Primetimers Foundation, which involves working with our members, organising events and supporting more people to transition into the not-for-profit sector.
Ruth is dedicated to helping people find the work they love, and having found it stay in love with it.
Her experience of leadership and personal development spans over 25 years in the public and voluntary sectors and includes internal and external HR and Organisational Development roles. During her career, she has designed and led corporate leadership development and talent programmes, in-house coaching programmes and provided individual, group and team coaching.
Ruth works in the areas of leadership, team development and executive coaching, including:
- helping senior leaders find and develop their authentic leadership style to succeed and operate successfully
- career transition and executive coaching for people seeking a new role or stepping up to a more senior role, including at board level
Ruth regularly facilitates international transformational leadership programmes for senior leaders across all sectors, including corporate, public, defence, education, faith and not-for-profit (NFP) organisations. She also provides leadership development and executive coaching for public and NFP sector leaders, as well as facilitating senior appointment assessment centres and chairing interview panels. She has a reputation for being insightful and engaging, ‘providing the perfect mix of professional expertise and approachability’.
Ruth holds an MSc in Policy Studies, a Diploma in Human Resource Management, an NTL Certificate in Organisational Development, a ILM 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, a Certificate in Career Counselling (CCS), a Certificate in Management and a Certificate in Management Consulting. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), a qualified OD Practitioner (NTL), a JCA Emotional Intelligence Coach, an Image Consultant and a Registered Member of the Federation of Image Professionals International (FIPI).
In addition to her role as Foundation Manager, Ruth chairs the Thames Valley CIPD Coaching and Mentoring Group and is a Member of the Regional CIPD Committee and Member of the Association for Coaching.
