Head of Partnerships & Mergers
Tracey O’Keefe is our Head of Partnerships & Mergers.
A professional marketer, Tracey has many years of experience in the social sector as a volunteer, trustee, chair and social entrepreneur. She passionately believes in partnership and collaboration as the way for social organisations to become more sustainable and so deliver better support to their beneficiaries.
Key skills & experience
Before joining Eastside Primetimers, Tracey was the founding Managing Director of the Hospice Quality Partnership – a unique collaboration in the hospice sector, which brought together 70 hospice partners from across the UK, in a shared ownership model, to jointly procure key goods and services. The partnership’s collective buying power of over £630m meant that partners were offered unique deals by suppliers, reducing direct and indirect costs of purchasing, so strengthening the viability of the hospices involved and driving more funds to frontline care.
Tracey is also an experienced non-executive director and trustee. She currently holds board roles with: Cheshire Young Carers; Salad Money, a social enterprise supporting NHS employees with affordable finance; Marketing Cheshire (part of the Cheshire and Warrington LEP); and the North West Universities Purchasing Consortium.

Before taking on the role of Head of Mergers and Partnerships, Tracey was lead consultant on a project working with a cancer charity looking to re-design its business model, including opportunities to develop their partnership working.
